Friday Rankings: ABC and Fox share modest dominance

ABC led the night in total viewership with news magazine “20/20,” which averaged 3.23 million viewers (#1 for the night) and a 0.4/4 share. rating /4 in adults 18-49 #1t) Friday 9-11 p.m. ET block. “20/20” aired from a repeat of “Shark Tank”.

Fox’s everlasting “WWE Friday Night Smackdown” tied ABC for the night’s top spot in the demo rankings, see the network averages above. Needless to say, what can you really tell when the best score among adults 18-49 is 0.4?

Elsewhere, CBS opened with the flop contest series “Come Dance With Me” (Viewers: #2, 2.20m; A18-49: #3t, 0.2/2:20). This led to TV reruns of “Magnum PI,” which was canceled by the Eye network but could move to NBC next season, and “Blue Bloods.”

The CW burned the original episodes of the canceled reboots “Charmed” (viewers: 383,000; A18-49: 0.1/1 at 8 p.m.) and “Dynasty” (viewers: 238,000; A18-49: 0.0/0 at 21h). And NBC cut “Dateline” to one hour (viewers: #3, 2.07 million; A18-49: #2t, 0.3/3 at 8 p.m.) on a repeat of “American Ninja Warrior.”
