Navy Pier has announced a full slate of free programs and events to celebrate the Halloween season from October 1-31. Navy Pier’s Halloween 2022 program list includes, but is not limited to:
Pier Pumpkin Lights returns to Navy Pier October 1-31. The free experiential fall show features nearly 1,000 pumpkins stacked in elaborate, photo-worthy displays. Guests can explore a variety of larger-than-life pumpkin pop-up installations all along the pier with photo opportunities galore, inside and out as guests stroll along the lake. The pumpkins will glow, as the sun sets earlier each evening. Customers are invited to explore this popular pumpkin pop-up experience, while taking advantage of pier-wide offers and other Halloween festivities throughout the month.
This Halloween season Navy Pier will transform into a mystical candy land for our free Slightly Spooky Saturday program from 12-6pm. Saturday October 29. Take the family on a sleight of hand with over 30 indoor candy stops and aerial performances by The Actors Gymnasium. There will also be interactive art spaces, toy, spider balloon and sugar skull workshops hosted by Somos Arte Chicago. Families can participate in costume contests and the Dog Costume Contest organized at Harry Caray. Shop for local art for Día de Los Muertos with Lolita’s Bodega and enjoy Halloween-themed drink specials at local eateries for purchase as you stroll along the pier.
There will be an adult-only spooky Halloween experience at The Hallows located in the Aon Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier for ages 21 and up. The paid event is a celebration of all things nightlife. Attendees can enjoy rotating circus music from famous DJs, electronic and theater music starting at 8 p.m. until 2 am From Saturday 29 October to Sunday 30 October. There will be performances by DJ Drezo, Laidback Luke and several other local DJs. The fully immersive experience will also include actors dressed to the theme, glow-in-the-dark body paint, and aerial acrobatics. Guests must have a ticket and valid ID to enter.
