Roberto Alagna, Aleksandra Kurzak, Elsa Dreisig, Emöke Baráth are featured in the February and March 2022 program of Les Grands Voix / Les Grands Solistes

Les Grands Voix / Les Grands Solistes have announced their programming for March and February.

First, a concert at the Philharmonie de Paris / Grande Salle Pierre Boulez with Aleksandra Kurzak and Roberto Alagna. They will perform alongside the National Orchestra of Belgium under the musical direction of David Giménez Carreras. The program will feature a host of favorite operas such as arias and duets like “Viene la Sera” from “Madama Butterfly”; “Cielo e mar” from “La Gioconda”; “Vissi d’arte” from “Tosca”; “The fate; pietra” from “Aida;” “Ebben! Ne andro lontana” from “La Wally;” and “Tu qui Santuzza” from “Cavalleria Rusticana”, among others.

Performance date: February 14, 2022

Then the public at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées will have the chance to see Elsa Dreisig alongside the Basel Chamber Orchestra under the musical direction of Baptiste Lope. The program will include music by Mozart and arias from operas such as “Le Nozze di Figaro”, “Così fan tutte”, “Lucio Sila” and “La Clemenza di Tito”, among others.

Performance date: February 17, 2022

The program will be completed by a concert at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées with Emöke Baráth and the Ensemble Artaserse under the direction of Philippe Jarousskey. “Händel Forever” will feature a wide range of arias from some of the composer’s most notable operas.
