Supercomputer predicts Premier League final draw

The Premier League have already released a number of shocking results in the first weeks of the season.

Aston Villa have become just the second team so far this season to take points from current Premier League champions Manchester City, holding them to a 1-1 draw at Villa Park on Saturday.

It was a hugely positive result for Villa after a tough opening month or so that saw them hover in and around the relegation zone for the most part.

The draw with Man City, however, was just another case of a surprise result early in the campaign.

There were several shock results early in the campaign, including Manchester United being dismantled by Brentford and Liverpool’s poor start to the campaign.

This is heating up to be one of the most unpredictable Premier League campaigns of all time with a number of teams looking like they could claim one of three relegation spots while the title race doesn’t look as straightforward as in the past.

The data experts at FiveThirtyEight have taken a look at the stats and given a full rundown of how they expect the Premier League table to look in May.
