Supercomputer predicts Premier League final table

After the second round of matches, the data experts at FiveThirtyEight calculated the numbers to give each team’s probability of winning the league, finishing in the top four and being relegated.

Pep Guardiola’s side have won four of the last five titles and data pundits predicted they would be crowned champions again, finishing 11 points clear of Liverpool.

The Reds picked up two points from their first two games after pulling away at Fulham and being held 1-1 by Crystal Palace on Monday night.
