WANDERERS will reach a top 10 in his debut season in League One, according to a supercomputer.
The Whites have made a promising start to life in the Third Division, taking 12 points in their opening eight games.
Ian Evatt’s men are currently expected to finish in ninth place, according to football statistics site FiveThirtyEight.
The table is based on a wide range of data from the season so far and predicts the Wanderers have a 20% chance of qualifying for the playoffs.
He also specifies that Whites have a 3% chance of winning the championship and a 9% chance of being relegated.
The table also predicts that Sunderland and Sheffield Wednesday will win a promotion to the Championship, while Crewe Alexandra and Shrewsbury Town are current favorites to come down.
