Asked if it’s a full-time date, Bromby said, “100 percent. That was always the plan. Danny is named head coach and that’s something we’re really excited about.

“The difference between the two is not big, (with a similar philosophy. They are really aligned with what the club wants – a young manager, an emerging head coach, someone we can develop and progress. Our plan does not change.

“He (Schofield) has more experience than Carlos had when he arrived because he had a playing career and more experience in England, so we think we’re in a very strong position. “
