In today’s video I watch recent news and evaluation measures for NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA), Advanced micro-systems (NASDAQ: AMD), and Intelligence (NASDAQ: INTC). Below I share some highlights from the video.
- TOP500 has just published an update to its list of the 500 best supercomputers. This list lists the top 500 fastest supercomputers today and, more importantly, shows the components they use, which can be invaluable information for semiconductor investors. Of the top 10, Intel processors are used in three, AMD processors are used in three, and NVIDIA graphics cards are used in six.
- Intel has signaled a delay on its new line of server chips, and this unfortunate event could accelerate AMD’s market share conquest. Intel’s stock price ended the day in red, while competitor’s AMD stock price closed in green on June 29, 2021. AMD recently obtained approval from UK regulators for its Xilinx (NASDAQ: XLNX) acquisitions and is now awaiting approval from Chinese regulators.
- When you look at the futures price-to-sales ratio, it shows that NVIDIA is near its all-time highs from the past 12 months, but the story changes when you look at other metrics.
