CHICAGO – On September 17, Tubi will present the new Tubi Original “Domingo,” one of the highlights of the free streaming service’s strong lineup of lineup for LatinX Heritage Month. It’s a list that includes “El Chicano”, “Desierto”, “¿Quién es la Máscara?” and “La Bamba”.
A “warm and funny football comedy”, “Domingo” is Tubi’s first original Spanish film. In a press release, the streamer noted that he “continues to build on the success of Tubi en Español and outperform its Spanish speaking audience.”
“Domingo,” by Mexican director Raúl López Echeverría, “tells the story of Domingo (Eduardo Covarrubias,“ Bajo Tierra ”), a 55-year-old man living in a poor suburb near Guadalajara.
